Has anybody ever removed their windshield wipers? Mine are in rough shape and need to be repainted. TIA.

someimtes it wont come off though. For mine i had to put the end of a screwdriver on the tip of the bolts and tap the handle of the screwdriver with a hammer. The pull up on wiper. If it doesnt come off, hit it a little more.

I just painted my Trim piece under the wiper arms, and the wiper arms them selfs.

To take off the wiper arms, you gotta pop the rubber cap on the base of the arm with a flat head.

Then using a 12mm bolt remove both nuts.

I spend like 30 mins trying to pull my arm off (while it was down).
then accidently pulled it up to the standing position and it slid right off.

heres what u do, just fold the wiper arm to the standing up position, and at the base of the arm just pull straight up. (being on the drivers side fender,) a little pull towards you and lifting up helps.

its not that hard, usaly you wouldn't need a hammer, unless your arm is rusted shut.
