I have a black 97 gs, ive been thinking about going wingless, my question is what do you use to cover the holes with? without bondo or repainting. Im going to take the doorcaps off too and do the same. Would a piece of black vinyl through the inside work? tia

vinyl is a temporary fix, you need to weld the holes, then smooth it out w/ bondo.

Yeah vinyl would be kinda ugly, and I don't think it would be easy to try to put vinyl from the inside and make it look smooth. Most likely you would have to put round vinyl stcikers on the outside, and it would be obvious. I would suggest saving up and painting it, probably costing anywhere from 400 to 800 typically to weld it up and repaint.
