#30438, "Rear Strut Bar & Trunk Cover"

I gotta ditch this rear upper strut bar I got. My trunk cover dosen't sit flush with the trunk causing a bouncing effect with the cover, which is really annoying. For the people with RUSTB which one are you using and does it sit lower than the trunk cover so that it (the cover) sits flush with the trunk?

I have one that does make contact with the cover but still allows it to sit all the way down. I just ended up getting some weather stripping to put between it. The bar I got was from procarparts.com

I bought the Pilot Motorsports one for the purpose that it sits low. You can see in this pic even though the cover isnt on that it sits alot lower than alotof the strut bars they sell.

98_silvergs....that is exactly the type of bar I am looking for. Cool and thanks for the pic.

I'll put mine up in the FS section later on today.

Just a warning with the pilot bars.... I have them also, but id highly reccommend removing the bolts that they come with and replace them with high quality bolts like S.S. from home depot or something...I sheared the crappy stock pilot bar bolt right off with a regular wrench...

i have the Procarparts bars and my trunk cover made contacto with it too, so what i did is smashed up the little metal support beam in the middle of the trunk cover so it couldn't touch my bar, then masked everything off and painted it black so it didn't look trashy.
