You know what the best way to gauge weight reduction is? At most scrap yards/junk yards you can dump mass quantities of stuff...what they do is weigh your vehicle when you come in, then weigh it after you dump and charge you by the pound. Their scales are accurate to within 2lbs i think. So before you do a weight reduction project go there, weigh, do your work and go back to weigh again.
Someone was talking on here yesterday about a website that sells carbon fiber doors, hatch, wing, fenders, hoods, bumpers (front and rear)...if you're extremely into weight reduction you should try that

yea tell me about it that back seat is like paper. thanks for the input guys. as far as the i know carbon fiber is good but im hesitant on putting it on due to the fact that there are a mess of pot holes by me ... how durable is it ?

whats the re bar ? explain
weight reductions are so worth it. every pound counts. imagine me vs a gs auto with the same mods ( im an rs no power anything ) theres almost 250lbs difference .. less weight on the wheels means the transmission spins them faster and besides weight reductions are cheaper than turbo

the rebar is the 5mph bumper helper deal.. we have them both in the front and rear bumper.. it will help you if you get into a collision, but if the insurance co finds out you took it off, it will void your claim, and u will be payin to fix your car...
basically, yank your front bumper, and u will see this black deal that is chillen in the middle of the bumper... that is it
good luck...
and weight reduction helps a lot, imo...
