um, im pretty sure if you paint your side markers no light is gonna go through... whats the point of that? why dont you just have a body man cover em up?

Damn guys a little rough dont you think.. This kind of attitude is what destroys a very good message board. Please stop it..now..

and for eclipse550hp-- if your talking about putting the side markers in hot water so that you can remove the lense, I just put them in some water that was not yet boiling and let them sit for approx 5 minutes then they should just peel apart.

When you say bumper markers are you referring to the bumper lens in the bumper? Not the turn signal in the headlights right?

Mine are painted, just wet sand 400 grit and paint.

I know what he's talking about....but I can't explain how to do it, since I was not successfull. The nightshade paint looks fine, until you turn them on, then it's blotchy as hell(and don't tell me I did it wrong.....I was an art student for a long time....among other things....I know how to work spray paint). I ended up painting mine blue on the outside....looks pretty cool....leave a whit bulb in there and the whole housing lights up.
