This weekend I'm going to clear my car headlights, and I'm thinking to paint the housing, but I'n not very sure of what color to use, my car is deep dark green, I saw a silver eclise with the same color on the headlights, looks very nice!
What color do you think will be good?
Maybe black, I'm not sure about the same green.
Is there someone with this kind of color in his car and have this job done, any pics?

check my sig pic. I had the bodyshop spray them exact same color as the outside and its regular exterior paint and clear.

if you are going to use black or some neutral color, get high temp engine paint...thats what i used for mine

They are already black.

The inide of the headlight housing doesn't get hot enough to burn away normal paint, high-temp isn't necesary. However, if you find the same color, in a high-temp form you could do it just to be safe....maybe if you live in like arizona or somwhere really hot all the time.

mine are being painted right now by a body shop because I want it to match the color they are doing my foglight inserts in.
