What did you all do to reseal up your tail lights after you pulled them apart and painted them? Should I silocone in the gaps and reattach the clear plastic shield or just reattach it and put it in the oven until the old silcone or whatever they use gets soft and reseals that way? tia

I put the clear plastic lenses on and put them in the oven...then removed them and pressed them together again. Hope it works. I won't be able to tell until my car gets out of the shop. And then it will have to go right back in again. I hate when my car is broke.
