well it wouldnt be a talon convertible, it would be an eclipse convertible with (in my opinion) downgraded bumpers and taillights. (and youd have to paint the roof and pillars black if you wanted people to really think it was a talon

Yeah I know what you are saying but if you go to a show you would get some points because there will not be another one at the show and I don't think anyone has done this.

Oh, that? Yeah, I did that last year. But, that was after I swapped the 4G63 into that Mirage. No wait..that was before my AWD 420a powered RS. Or was that after my CRX with the blown 502? I dunno. I cant keep track.

Yea, but you will also get points taken off with stock talon bumper and lights because they aren't aftermarket or custom. Plus the judges are probably Honda guys and don't know that Talons don't come in convetibles. So spend your money on custom fenders, bodykits, and hoods instead of stock talon parts.

If I was to do any type of open top conversion I would do convertible. Targa's are a ugly in my opinion, but to each his own. My boss has a 911 Targa and all he does is complain about it. Maybe a hardtop targa would look ok. I think its a very cool concept if you can find a judge to appreciate it.
