Well I've finally got the damn thing to fit decently. A couple days worth of trimming (I still think I need to trim it even more) it finally fits enough that I'm happy with it. The bumper looks great too.

I bought the bumper off of flossinpinoy it was blue and had a big crack on the drivers side headlights area. I managed to repair it and repaint it, haha I didn't even use the right kind of blue I used Duplicolor Royal Blue but its a little darker than the original blue on it. But I used some rubbing compound and polish and it blends in better now. Haha sometimes if you look at it in the sun it turns purple, wierd O_o .

I had to trim the side where the headlights were cuz this bumper was made for 97 lights but I say it looks damn nice with 96 lights since they're totally flush. Other fitting issues are that the under the driver's side light there's a gap, I'm guessing when I repaired it I repaired it a little crooked and this happened not that bad though. I got small gaps on the side and the ends go in too much so it's not totally flush. Oh and don't get me start on the intercooler. THIS bumper sux for FMICs!!! The mouth is way too deep for a FMIC to fit its sorta mangled the fins on my starion FMIC But I modified it so the mouth his a part of the end tank so hopefully no more of that will occur. First had to kinda revise the intercooler piping (stupid 2.5" piping!!!) so it'd be more flush to the car. Then I had trim the hell out of the bottom mouth with a sander. I also had to lose the grill because it was in the way when I sanded it. Man that thing had a lotta bondo on it! Hope I don't run into an large sized stone anytime soon ^_^" .

I managed to get away with using the 5 bolts on top and 6 zip ties on the sides. I've taken the bumper to 120 MPH and had no problems. Seems there is some more drag but it feels like the car runs cooler.

Now onto the postive things. This bumper looks pimp!! haha There is hella room for my massive Super Oil Cooler and much more air flow to the oil cooler. That's one gripe I had with my stock bumper, it didn't fit too well with the oil cooler, it had a little bulge coming out of it. I'm thinking of fabricating a duct for my oil cooler also that or enlarging the scoop. The FMIC and radiator get LOTSA air flow now good for that emoji It looks great with 95-96 lights! I think I will use the driver's side scoop as an engine bay cooler also, when I get some home depot ducting bwahahah! Fun with aerodynamics ^_^

Haha on the bad stuff now. Aside from it being a tight fit, I can't use the crash bumper anymore. I think if I hack the crap out of the crash bumper and stuff some impact foam in there it'll help a bit if I rear end someone. Haha but fiberglass shatters doesn't it? Man this is a EVO V copy bumper too bad it's not a six I really want to stick my front plate on the side emoji My car looks like a snow plow with this thing on also since I have no skirts. A nice GTR wing would be nice to go with it emoji And man it's LOW!!!! I've scraped this sucka up pretty bad already. I think I'm gonna coat the bottom with truck bed liner or something so it'll have a little skid plate. It needs to be painted, I think I will just paint it with my green since the green I have looks black at night and it's a pretty rare eclipse color emoji Can't go wrong with army green emoji But I better make sure I get someone that's good to paint it none of this chipping crap. My stock 95 bumper has not a chip on it!!!! Another goofy thing about this bumper is that for some wierd reason the right side of the mouth is tweaked upward so it looks crooked just look at the pix and you'll know what I'm saying, it fiberglass so it's not goin no where emoji

YES I SUCK AT AUTOBODY HAHA LOOK AT THAT CRAP!

Primered

Here's where I had trouble fitting the bumper the most that big ass pipe was hitting the mouth.

Look at how close that is it was hugging it TIGHT

SNOW PLOW

OIL COOLER

My album is at if you wanna see all the pix.

Congrats, sounds like you went through a lot but at least you know how to fix fiberglass. Word of warning though, fiberglass WILL chip from hitting rocks on the freeway. It will chip no matter what really. The gel coat will just chip off, so even if the paint sticks, it doesn't matter because the actual part of the bumper itself can chip off. Fiberglass is a very delicate material, and perfect for show cars. If you drive slower on the freeway, you can get away with no chips (one of my friends does that). Also a lot of clear coat will help protect it. But driving 80+ you will have small rock chips within a week or two. I guess it also depends on where you drive. My experiences are all from socal freeways.

haha shiet boy am I in for it. I've been doing a lotta 120 MPH runs lately on the freeway. I guess it inevitable. but I noticed only certain parts of the bumper chipped like the very front part. haha even the part that I newly painted is chippin already. Oh well I guess I gotta live with it. I don't mind small chips but if it starts flakin gahahah thats bad.

Yep, the smaller wheels (well they're not smaller those are 16s with 40 profile tires) in the rear are for drifting. They help the tail break traction so I can drift my car. I've had the oil cooler a while. It's a B&M super oil cooler. Damn oil cooler is so big that it didn't fit well in my stock bumper but it fits wheel in this bumper emoji I got it from carparts dot com. Also permacool has a kit for our cars now. And is it worth it? Well I guess any oil cooler is better than no oil cooler. BUt also thing about it all this hot oil coming out of the bearing housing into your oil pan and going to your engine, can't be good for the engine. Remember oil is another coolant for your car.

so ....if and when i get a turbo kit your advice would be to get the oil cooler ..now does it hook up where the oil filter is at or where the turbo hooks to your oil pan???
