I want to get the extreme gt hood with the vents in it but want to know if I will run into any problems with water getting in the engine bay when it rains. I was told it would be ok. Or if theres a good way to cover up the vents so water doesn't get in. Heres a picture of the hood. TIA

grrrr! I have been wanting this hood since before I even got an eclipse!!! You people... trying to be like me and all!

ehh...oh well, I can't afford any mods for a loooooooong time, so I guess I will get beat to the hood. Whoever gets it, congrats! I think it's very unique!

About the water thing... I wouldn't worry about it...water gets up on your engine all of the time in heavy rain...

Ask anyone--this hood has been on my to do list for around 2 years...I have no idea if it has anything to do with it but i sent them MULTIPLE letters ( to ViS) to make this hood for the eclipse...They made one for a celica and it was sweet. Well wehn i saw it i loved it...I love it now also but i have no molah... ...teh GT hood will not leak water

I have been racking ViS about making a Repsol front bumper for a Eclipse to...that wass sooo fuckin sweet... It was specialy made one of a kind by repsol and it was wrecked teh first day....I think it was on a gsx for rally....it didnt look anything like evo....it hung donw far to...starnge for rally...They said they would make me one if i could find 6 point pics and i paid them 1200$...looks like no repsol for me!

Yeah I've liked this hood for a while but it was too expensive, Well I called a local shop and they can get them for a little bit more than the oem style so I gotta get it. But you guys think it will be all right getting wet over the valve cover and plugs.
