#28897, "need pics of your race-style seat please"

i am looking for anyone who can give me a few pictures of there aftermarket seats in there car. idealy reclined and taken from the trunk area. i need particularly to see how they are oriented in relationship to the steering wheel and pedals. I.E.- if its off center from the steering wheel or if its angled a little. i have new seats and i had/have to make my own brackets to mount them to and need to see how the seats are oriented to the everything.
thanks a lot.

Here is a pic of my Momo Rookie seat when I had it installed in my GSX. I can tell you that its going to be a pain. I fabricated my own brackets out of 1/4" steel strips (Home Depot). In regards to centering, you want it centered. Otherwise its going to be mad uncomfortable. My seat had to be positioned all the way to the right and then some, pushing into the center console. I don't know what kind of seats you bought, but if they're too wide you may have to live with it being off-centered. Just take you time with it. Good luck.

Here's a picture of my Corbeau Targa RS Seats (Fully Reclineable)and took 5 minutes to install. The Brackets that came with it was an exact fit. ($300 for the seats/each and $75 for the bracket/each).

Mike, how high do they go in your car? Is there barely any clearance space between the top of the seat and the headliner? Also, how do they feel? Are they real snug in the hips-waist area?

Anybody know who manufactures the Acura RSX seats... those are nice!

The seats sit about an inch higher then stock from the ground and the actual seat itself is about 3" higher or so. (With the old seat, my head would be higher then the head rest when driving but with this seats, it's about even.

The clearance with the convertible top is not noticable at all. As for as comfort. Awesome. Talk about wrap around your body. It takes a while to get use to.

My only complaint would be the 1" height increase. I like sitting low in the seat.
