u know 5x7 fit in the back of the car speaker mounts. i have 5x7 kenwoods and they sound like a champ

I cut the frame off of the stock speakers and rubber cemented them to my kenwood 6x9's. Then I just screwed them in. It worked perfectly and no rattle.
