#28382, "what is the led equation for the resistor"
i remember back a while ago, someone posted a formula for finding the right resistor for the led to work with the 12V battery source
can someone give the formula again and perhaps tell me the resistor for this led: Typical MCD is 620. Typical wavelength is 570nm. T 1 3/4 size (5mm). Clear lens color. Viewing angle of 12°. 30 mA current max. Typical voltage 2.1V, with a maximum of 2.8V. Package of 1.

its ohms law, do a search on the net and you will find calculators on it, but what are you useing it for? 620mcd is not very bright? For the HVAC the mcd is 1500+

i used to have that formla on my comp, but lost it. You should be able to search the web for it though. btw.. if you plan on using that led to replace a standard light/bulb it will not be bringht enough.. you need somehting like 1000+mcd.

thanks
