Hey guys. I just got a new 1997 silver rs. NICE!! Well, I have some money to spend and I dont know wether to get a body kit and springs or 18's and springs? Help me out. What rims would look good on a silver eclipse(please include a pic). Thanks for the opinion people!
PS-What size drop should i get..dont wanna go to low b/c i live in a REALLY BUMPY ROAD and dont wanna scrape the kit. lol.

Well since you just got it and it is a '97+...the stock body is pretty damn nice. I'd go for wheels and suspension first. Maybe get an intake and exhaust with window tint. Get the body kit later when you have got your money's worth of the stock one, IMO.

if i were you, id get 17in rims, lower it 1.7 inches, and buy some stock sideskirts.

edit** thats my opinion if money is a factor, but if you can afford, go for the 18 inch rims.

go for 17s with a 1.7-2.0 inch drop(depending on the tires
you get), even if u have the money dont go for 18s they cost
more and they make u go slower, you can use the extra money
for an exhaust or intake or something..

yeah... personnally, go with prokits. the ride looks so much better and it is not as bad as a much lower drop would feel. also don't get body kits if you can't afford to keep it up. i always laugh at guys with hondas with unpainted body kits. it just looks bad in imo

I'd suggest coilovers. Sportlines were too low, I think pro kits may not be low enough. Sportlines settle like hell, or mine did. If you aren't getting any fiberglass parts, you'd be fine riding low, but I want a kit, and I have a front bumper, and sides that are going on sometime soon I hope.

Thanks. Ill probably springs instead of coilovers because money is REALLY tight. Ill just put the money toward a body kit (of course urethane) or a system. Thanks for your help.

the rims are giovanna (naganos) i think i have them on my 1999 silver rs i have the 18 ich it looks good i think.

I think mine look nice But dont get em, lots of people have them...
