rub toothpaste on it. I used crest on my friend's 95. Rub it around with ur fingertip or whatever. Let is sit for a few, then rub it all around on the light. Take a wet cloth or rag and rub it then. Do the same for the other side. U might wanna have a bucket to get the excess off with and to resoak the rag. You will probably have to eventually rinse the toothpaste off, but it should clear the lights. I hear wetsanding with really fine grit will work too.

i did the toothpaste thing but it came back. I just used plastic cleaner (i.e. simple green) and its been 4 days since i used it and still no more yucky color. I dont know why it only happens to the drivers headlight.... anyone know?
