Last night I was driving home doing 80-85mph when all the sudden a bird come from no where and hits my front bumper. The bird then flew over my car and hit the viper behind me. We both pulled over and looked at our cars. The viper was fine. There is a small dent on my front bumper where the mitsubishi logo usta be. Can I just pull my front bumper off and push out the dent, or should I take it to a bodyshop and have them fix the fiberglass??

I had the same feeling, I don't know if bird really like to shit on a black car. other cars park beside me with another color with no bird shit on them, just my black eclipse. May be because I hit a bird like a year ago around this area and they regonize my car? damn...

That is my biggest pet peave about my car. If there is bird shit on it then i wont drive it. I make sure to get it off right away cause it looks so tacky. If im driving and a bird shits on it, i pull over and clean it off. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

You can't see bird crap on your car anyways. it's white!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyways, I must be in themiddle cuz someimtes birds crap on it, and sometimes they dont. I'm the magenta gray pearl color so the birds think it's half black, half white. They stay away half the time.

yeah go figure...I just happen to have like three different types of friggen berries growing in my backyard......fuckin' purple birdshit shows up REAL WELL on a silver car. the only white shit I ever see is on my girlfriend's car, and parent's car...both red.
I think that birds actually choose car colors that compliment their palatte.......little bastards.

I hate driving under a few hundred migrating birds and hearing. "TING-TING-TITITITITITTITING" You know you basically got a paint job. Purple with white pearl or something. I am lucky tho, I have a carport to park in. We have a berry tree. sucks. But while out driving, I don't think I have had shit on my car in about a year now. I think it's odd. They used to aim for it b/c it's so shiny. I guess they try and be polite and do it over water, but a shiny car from above to them I guess could resemble water. Who knows. I think birds suck.
