what would happen it i remove that plastic cover in the front/bottom area of the radiator? (it slants in) i'm thinking if i have a cold airintake installed, then they'll be more airflow if that is gotten rid of.

New Car:
2004 350z base, Nismo CAI, pioneer avic-n1 (dvd, cd, navi)



Old Car:
1998 GS with hrc stage 2, HID 6000k conversion kit, AEM UEGO wideband, sfmu, ml, prokits, Greddy warning gauges: egt, boost gauge, and oil pressure, apexi tt, haydans tranny cooler, costum dp, groundwires, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler
Boostin since Aug 03.

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!

If you're getting an AEM cai then your filter will be sitting inside of your fender in front of your wheel well. There you can just take out the balck plastic piece closing up the simulated brake scoop on the front on either side of our foglights.....see my pic below....the smaller mesh piece. If this is the case, then I don't think that doing this would be beneficial......In fact, if I remember correctly from taking my bumper off....the piece you are talking about holds some of the bolts connecting your bumper to your car.

yea that peice holds the top part of ur bumper to ur car ....actualy its the only thing holding my bumper up right now
