#27180, "how many feet of hoses do i need?"

I want to make my engine bay look a little more colorful, so I want to put in some red hoses. Have you guys herd of the brand Taylor? I'm trying to find their site to order them, but I can't find it.

Anyway, what kind of hoses do you guys recommend? And how long of hoses do I need?

Thanks.

oh, wait, are they called hoses? or wire loom covers? But I hope you guys know what I'm talking about.

You can dress up your engine bay by replacing all your vacuum hoses with colored silicone hoses, or re-wrap all your electrical wiring with colored wire looming.

RRE sells a hose kit called the "Larson Kit" for the 2g that comes in different colors. It's designed for a 4g63 motor, but I was able to replace all my vacuum hoses with it. www.roadraceengineering.com

I'm not sure where to get the wire looming online. Most local speed shops carry wire looming kits.

Hope this helps.

Hey pal. Yeah, just order the Larson Kit. Its nice and simple. emoji The one for our cars left me with enough extra hose to do my beater CRX as well. As far as loom, I have no clue on the length needed. Its dirt cheap though and most local shops (at least here) cut it to length for you in house.

Also check out SPWUSA.COM for some nice dress up items for the 2GNT. Radiator brackets, fuse box covers, and resevoir caps. They are made by Hayame. Not the cheapest but real nice emoji

Also do yourself a favor. Buy some Simple Green and degrease your engine bay a couple times before starting the hose/loom swaps. Then again after your done. Trust me on this one.

You can paint a lot of the things yourself i.e. Window Washer fluid cap, Brake fluid cap etc. I also removed my Fans and fan shrouds off my Radiator and Painted the Shrouds blue and the fans silver and painted the Radiator mounts blue.

Hey Twiste, can you paint the oil filler cap too? Would I need high temp paint for any of the caps?
