#27053, "Repaint?"

I've been wondering how much it would cost to repaint the stock color of my car? I wouldn't think it would cost too much cause I'm not changing the color. I just want it redone cause when I got the car it has a few chips in the paint and swirl marks.

If you want to repaint the whole exterior of the car, it doesn't matter what color you repaint it. It's still the same labor to sand off all the clear and prep it for paint. It would be roughly 1500 to repaint the entire exterior only. Maybe 100 to 200 less since it would require less paint if you keep it the same color, but still not cheap.

Ouch, that's a whole lot more than I'd wanna spend on the paint, it doesn't really look that bad. Anyone got any ideas on getting swirls out, or at least making them not as visible?

If I had $1500 to spend on my car I put it towards turbo.

if you are good with a high speed buffer you can get a lot of marks out. But if you have never used one before its not a good idea, you can burn the paint off.
