I just started hookin it up and i got the power, the acc and the ground hooked up the lights on the tv com on but the actual screen does not come out and the player doesnt take the cds in. I theres omethin that i did not do right or that i have to hook up. or is this system just a lemon.

What type of system and manufacture is it.

sounds like a lemon unless you are suposed to have a wire for a e-brake

I think I saw you have the panasonic indash screen. My buddy has the same one with dvd and all you have to do is Ground the e brake wire and if that doesnt work you might have some problems.

Yea i have a panasonic cy-vmc7000u. The thing about this is that im not sure if the wire has to be actually hooked up but i had it wrapped around the switch. But here is the thing the power came on the blue light under the cd insert came on and everything but it doesnt take in cd's and the screen doesnt come out. But maybe i should actually try hard wiring it in and try it but the instruction book says that the screen comes out if the ebrake isnt applied just theres no picture. but i think i will just try goin back and hard wirin it in.
