Ok, so here it goes. My dad and I are lookin at mods for his corvette and we stumble upon this kit that replaces your back hatch with a One-piece, hand-laminated fiberglass lid...sort of like a false floor that goes in place of your glass hatch. It even opens and lets you still use your hatch. That was pretty hard to picture in your head so heres a pic and link.
Ive seen posts before about crazy original ideas that people want to spend their money on...and people replied with targa tops and so on. But how about a custom removeable roof like the corvettes, and then a removeable hatch? I think it would be Incredibly original and would look good as hell. Expensive...but really cool.

to do that the only thing i could think of is to take out the back seat and make it more room for a system or w/e but it does sound like a pretty interesting idea.. it would take alot of custom work along with alot reframing the body
