Hey..I bought some light covers for my car used and they are already painted a certain color. I was wondering do you guys know if it's cheaper to sanddown the old paint and prime the pieces and take it to maaco or should I just give them the painted pieces and let them do all the stuff and paint it..well If I do sand it down and prime it..uhm..i've never done it before so what do I need to do exactly to get it ready to paint? Thanks guys.

I would just go to a good shop. I paid 70 to have mine done at a good shop. including the center piece. They didn't have to take anything offor put it back. I took it there and then I put the stuff on. They could probably sand it and spray it just like they would anyways.
