#26470, "washer nozzle question"

I know what many of you think about the led washers, so please hold the flaming. I like 'em and they are going on. Now, for those of you who have put them on, how much of the support under the hood should I cut to get them in, and what should I use to cut? I don't want to mess anything up. Thanks for the help and absence of bad comments.

Hey I like em! I have them and I'm not afraid to say it! It's not ricey. And I willing to bet ALOT of people have them, they just won't admit it.

"Hello my name is Chris and I have light-up washer nozzles"

I just cut two circular holes about 1 1/2 in in diameter. I'll post a picture of how I cut mine later today.

I 2nd that ^. I had them for a couple months, but everytime I used to go racing I felt embarrassed having them on.. so I disconnected them and took out the wires.

How different are they from the stock ones? When I put my stock ones back in my hood I was able to get them in without any trouble, no cutting involved.

the "stem" that connects to the water line from the pump is longer than the stock "stem"..that is why cutting is required.... it also makes it alot easier to get to the water line when you cut...

Then don't do it! Please! For the love of the Eclipse. Oh, I guess I missed that absence of bad comments thing. LOL! You must be in an area that is kind of remote. Here in Central Florida, EVERYONE has them. I see them on jacked up Nissan 4X4 pickups and stuff. Yuck. Too over played. Just my opinion.

There are numerous kids around here that do all the upgrades of their cars at Auto Zone....all the way down to APC window stickers and LED Exhaust Tips.....annoying really. I used to like them but that vision was ruined when i say a turquoise early 90's model grand am with a huge red wing and red accents that had red nozzles. Everytime i saw that car i wanted to puke. So that is my story about washer nozzles emoji
