well, i got the ones from stylin compacts and were hella cheaper than most and very good. but anyways with your install, this is what i did. rather than jack with taking the needles off and resetting them, i just cut the old gauges off, then slipped the new ones right over the needle and put on a dab of glue and wham. remember to take out the light bulbs that illuminate the old ones thought. as far as wiring them, you can find the wire that runs those lights, or you can do what i did and take the + wire, one of your old bulbs, rip out the bulb twist the wire into the socket, a little tape and boom. and iv never had any probs. and no, you dont have to paint the needles. they are black and easy enought to see against the glo at night.
