I am getting sooooo pissed. I have Matrix black housing blue ion projectors. The first week I had them moisture started seeping in. Matrix was no help and stood by "all aftermarket headlamps have that problem" . Anywho, I siliconed them up and they are 100% better now. This week I was cleaning my engine bay and noticed the access "cap" from the back of the driver side had came off from the back of the housing. After inspecting it closely, the son of a bitch melted!!!! Not the headlamp but just the inner ring of the screw on cap. The bulb hadn't blown or anything. Is this normal for them to produce heat at such high temp? Where the hell am I gonna get another cap. Do the OEM ones fit? Matrix was no help before, I doubt they would be now. Thanks..jd

mine did that to..mine werent matrix..the covers fell off and the cover melted to one of the bulbs..it was just a mess so i took mine out and put the stockers back in...im pretty sure the stock covers will fit but if the seal is melted then it wont..mine didnt and if the covers arent on then water will get in a melt the metal..my ground wire broke in half so my high beam would work...good luck i say put the stockers back in..
