I tried to put the hood on and it doesnt quite line up with all 4 screws..can the brackets be adjusted? there sure is a lot more space on the sides than the stock hood is that normal and also a lot more space all along the front? it was to damn hot today so I will try again when I can gather up a few friends to help out.

I had the exact same problem with mine!! What I ended up doing was taking off the hood brackets and drilling the holes out bigger so that I could adjust them. But yeah I had gaps on both sides of the hood. Sounds like they used the same mold when making our hoods lol.

you should have seen the fun I was having. After being pissed off that it fit like shit I went to put the stock hood back on and one of the screws broke off into my stock hood

Not really, thats about the only place it did line up halfway decent. And no I don't think I will miss it too much, It will be nice to be able to keep my engine bay kleen!

Does anyone know if every CF hood has these problems, or if it is just a specific brand? Doesn't sound worth it if you're going to have all of these problems after paying $500-$600 for it in the first place.
