#25383, "How can I fit 20" wheels on my 'clipse?"

I understand that they won't just bolt-on with no rub... what do I have to do to make 20s fit with no rub and be fully drivable? Roll fenders? anything else?

Thanks

I've looked into this myself. You'll have to do some bodywork. I think the only way, without turning your car into a 4x4, is to get fender flares. You'll also need to be wary of the changes in suspension geometry. 20's will definitely affect handling and acceleration. If you'll be using them for daily driving, I'd recommend doing some research on having the car regeared.

yeah you are gonna have to raise it up, or just cut off an inch from the wheels diameter...

no? ok, then get flares and look everywhere you can to find a 20 thats 8" wide or less (i doubt youwill find any nice ones that thin)

To make it even worse, all the rims i've found are 20 x 8.5 and the ones i REALLY want are deep dish... ADR Monello, here's a pic:

So I guess I'll have to raise the car up a bit? Because even with flares, i don't know if 8.5" width will fit. I wouldn't have to raise it up too high would I? I plan on getting some custom bodywork done so it would still look low afterwards. As you can tell, I'm not looking for the utmost performance, but I'll be choppin... I'm also doing some interior and body mods and I'm positive that MOST people won't know that it's even an Eclipse (unless you're a 2GNT member, of course). Here are some other rims I'm considering... all 20 x 8.5 ... any suggestions?

if you want to fit 20in rims on ride then you would get custom wide fenders made

OMG I love those deep dish rims in the first picture. I would put that on if I had a Mercedes or Lexus.
