i did a search but didn't find anything....if i wanted to take the sticker off the back of my car that says GS, how would i do that? i know it's just a sticker, but what should i use to take it off so i dont mess up the paint? im sure some of u guys have done this, so i just thought i'd ask before i ended up screwin up the paint on my car. thanks guys

The sticker will peel right off. Then use goo gone or lighter fluid to take the glue residue off. Then just wash and wax at least that spot and you will be fine!

Just go get some goof off. I think you can get it at most auto parts stores. Then just chip the sticker away with your nail. You should be able to get most of it off. Just don't use anything sharp, you should be fine. Good luck.

I used a flat razor, but be careful...u dont want to chip the paint, obviously.

I also did this. Pressure washer at any local do-it yourself carwash and the badges come right off. Then use goo-gone to get the residue off.

Do not use a razor

I just used a blow dryer to heat up the sticker a little then peeled it off pretty easy. Then a little goo-gone to get the left over residue.

thanks a lot guys!! it's so awesome to have a site to come to and prevent mistakes before they happen by asking other eclipse owners....i finally pick up my car on saturday and this was one of the first things i wanted to do. i'll be sure and get some goo-gone and i'll have pics of my new car hopefuly by monday. thanks again guys!!

I did my car the day after I got it in my drive way. It was a hot Texas day and it came off pretty easy. I used Alcohol to get rid of the left over goo.

I decided I wanted to debadge it one day and went to wash it. I sprayed at about a level angle with the decal, and it flew off. It left the shape tho in residue. I got home, and squirted that with goo-gone, and then rubbed the hell out of it with my thumb. My thumb got real hot, and the residue started peeling off. It sounds funny, but it worked.
