Unfortunately, I profited from a friend's misfortune. A good friend of mine flipped his GS-T Spyder. Good thing he was wearing his seat belt or he would've been f@cked. Anyway the car is a total loss and he had the same interior as me. I also got a leather shift knob and the center console.

Ladies and gents, you know you can get recovering kits that allow you to "add" leather seats to your cars right? I have a 97 GS with the factory leather that is getting really worn and I've been looking at replacing it with one of the kits from leatherseats.com. (Sorry for the blatant plug for them). The two tone black on tan would match my interior pretty damn close too. I'm waiting for a sample swatch to compare but if it pans out I'll post some pics of the recover and the oem material for the rest of you. The killer is that for the fronts and back its 679 plus shipping. Before you say don't do the backs, it's only 100 bucks more than just the front buckets. I guess I could pull the backs and put subs there or do the RX7 storage mod but who can say at this point.
I still have to find a local shop to do the work, but that seems pretty easy.
take it easy

...At least I let my warranty expire first...wait...damn!

yes, i may sell the covers, but it would be the fronts only.
oh, and those kits, they just add leather on your existing seats. i wanted the whole new seat with lumbar support and side support plus its power and $200, cant beat that
