to paint a set of sideskirts and doorcaps??? They come in Pints Quarts and Gallons. I think I want to get my door handles mirrors and center piece painted as well. It would just be cheaper if I supplied the paint so I was wondering. Thanks

there are lots of differnt items that go into paint, its not like you buy one gallon of your color....most places mix their own colors...this includes using differnt paint colors, reducers, pearls... and so on... and for the amount that you are painting , i doubt you will want 2 buy a bottle of pearl (that stuff expensive) not 2 mention that it might be a combo of differnt perals in your paint...

You would need one pint (if they still sell it that way) or a quart and that will cover it all, also an equal amount of reducer and at least 8 oz. of hardener and that is all you need. Make sure you use the same paint (I think PPG does ours) the factory uses and get the exact paint code off the side of the door. The shop will mix it for you or at least we always did when I painted cars. They may want to supply their own now. Just check with the shop and make sure but whne you call, tell them you have your own already, that will make them more inclined to do so than if you tell them you are thinking of buying it. Lastly don't tell them your name that way if they still will not do it, you can go in and tell them what you want and let them supply the paint and not look like an idiot lol.
