#23947, "problem with tail lights"

Here it goes: I had to take my altezza's off to pass inspection. Anyway, when I put them back on I accidentally pinched a wire which blew the fuse when I turned the lights on. Well I fixed the wire and replaced the fuse. Now the rear left turn signals won't work the majority of the time. When I turn my lights on they light up but when I hit my blinker they won't work and the front blinker flashes really fast. All the fuses are good and I replaced all the bulbs. Any Ideas??? Like I said earlier, sometimes (not very often) they work fine. Please let me know.

Damn turn signals suck on this car!!!!! I have stock tails, and sometimes the 2 bulbs that blink together will alternate(looks like the lights at a rail road crossing). This only happens sometimes, and when it does, they blink really fast like a bulb is out or something. I'll usually wiggle the bulb harness around and it will stop, and I've been ok for a couple months now.
I hate how these cars have so many little problems like this.

I still have that problem. the right blinker blinks fast and alternates. Also, when I hit the brakes, the middle bulb goes out instead of getting brighter. People told me it was a relay problem, but I think I have the same problem as you.

You got a short somewhere. Trace the wires through your car and see if you can find the part that melted(Atleast thats probably what happened) and is grounding out on your chassis somewhere or something, and rewire it.

I had that problem and it ended up being a short up in the dash.
