Anybody got pics of the wingswest 3 peice wing from different angles, (NOt the black one or silver one that all the online stores has) I might be selling my wing to some local kid for 400 bucks (?!) he wants it bad....so whatever, but I'm looking at the wings west 3 piecer but I'm not sure if I will have to reweld any holes or now, I need to know about how far up on the actual trunk lid the middle piece goes? Basically I need to know if the center piece of the wing will cover up my current holes. Thnx guys

ALL STOCK!! except for this extra radiator in front of my stock bumper

hey mick, If im right, it should cover up the holes for the wing you have now. When I had my GTR wing or what ever you wana call it, I put the stocker back on and it covered it up, so it should cover all holes up

You WILL still see your old holes, Mick.

Our wing bolts on the sides almost up to the hatch glass on the trunk. The WW sides go on the outside of the trunk. You will see your 2-3 holes inside.

I think HondaHater was referring to the stock 3pc wing, not the turbo spoiler. Sorry bud.

Keep your $400 wing man. They are still worth $400-$500 new. They look better than the WW in my personal opionion. However, I must say I love Chowmane's car. And I'm not a fan of spyders. (except the infamous "StockSpyder" )

Hey Mike ^^^ Thanks for the compliment. (Infamous StockSpyder.LOL)

Yeah if you have the stock 3-piece spoiler from the factory then this 3-Piece Mid-Wing Spoiler is a direct fit. All the holes line up. All you have to do is get the stupid center hole on your trunk lid filled and painted. Cost me an extra $50 to get that done.

The Spoiler cost me $300 shipped (4 years ago) and the paint job was $250.00 (That's including the Labor of removing the stock and installing the new spoiler, painting the spoiler, filling the hole and painting the trunk, and painting all of my interior. (The guy said if you take it off, I'll paint them for FREE - Dam, I should of ripped my hole interior. I can see the look on his face the day I bring my car to get it painted. LOL)

Hey as soon as they make a Decent Turbo Kit for the 2.4L 4G64 engines I'm there.

I know I can buy parts and make one myself. But I rather just get a full kit.

Who knows - maybe my next car will either be a 98 Supra Turbo or a 99 Eclipse 3000GT VR-4.

Now that's what I'm Talking About.

NO. Mike I'm talking about those 2 extra holes u gotta drill for the GTR wing...he will still have them visible b/c the WW wing covers the stock 3pc spoiler, yes, but not on the inside. See my pic again above. ^

And StockSpyder is a AWD spyder in cali emoji

But yes your's is cool too.

LoL, well what happens is that when my car went into the shop to get painted: ALL the old holes from the 3 piece were welded shut and repainted. What happened today was BAD, I think I got part of your infamous not so good luck Mike.

I guess on the way back from Orlando, while cruising through a contruction zone, a few pebbles flew at my wing, and took some orange paint out......OUCH! It looks horrible, I mean the light color than the black spots underneath it. And it didn't do anything to the fiberglass, it just took the paint off, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my option now is either

1. Pay 100 bucks just to have those few nicks repainted, I lose 100
2. Sell my wing for 400 to the local kid, get the WW 3 piece for 250-275 and the new wing painted for 100 I gain 25 - 50
3. Just get a stock GSX wing and paint it and sell my old wing... ARGH! Im' so fucking over this car.....it's not funny

Yo, the stock high spoiler (GST/GSX) looks better than the WW 3 piece, the WW looks like it weighs a ton on the back of the car, but it's up to you. Also with the GST/GSX you won't have to drill holes where you just filled 'em.

True the stock Turbo Spoiler is lighter. Since it doesn't have the two side piecec. But seriously - how much weight we talking about.

1lb or so. Man - just don't eat that 2nd chalupa before you go racing. LOL

Part of adding accesories to your car is to customize it.

Why do you want to spend all that money and have it look like a stock car.

Man - Seen a guy in a Mustang (Stock) and the exact same stang (Same color and everything) at the red light. The problem was in one car it was a bunch of guys (Looks like their in their 20's) and the other car was a 50-60 year old lady.

Man if a 60 year old lady had a Spyder like mine I be embarress.

But it's cool. Do what you like - it's your ride. But if your worried about weight then why do so many guys got 3 15" Subs in their trunk.

Mick try and get that shop to repaint it for free...there's GOTTA be some type of warranty, bud.

IF not, get it resprayed. It's a rare wing man. Not many people shell out the cash to buy one of those wings.

I had the factory 3 piece, & we had to redo all the holes except for 2. First off you have to put a hole closer to the door for the tip of each side (Factory 3 piece doesn't have this), and the other 2 holes were spread apart evenly. The factory 3 piece only has 2 holes holding on the side pieces, and both (if I remember right) follow the same line as the hatch opening, so none of those holes will work. In the illustration that I made, it may look like you can use the back hole from the factory sides, but they're off about 3/8" so we welded those shut & put new ones in. As for the middle section, the Wings West bolts are farther apart than the stock spoiler. the only holes that we used were the back 2 on the middle section.

I'm going from memory from last year at this time, but I know that the only holes that were of any use were the 2 for the back of the middle section. Everything else was welded & redrilled.

yo, you the man, Hedog. good job. I just use the factory hole for my WW 3 pieces wing and the fitment is not so prefect and I use 4 bolts to hold my entire wing! (2 for centre, 1 for each side)I am gonna drill some new holes after my damn finals!
