#23037, "power window kits"

Does anyone have any experience with SPAL power window kits?? I just got one and plan on installing it soon. I believe RxR Eclipse had a SPAL window kit, but I havent seen him post on here in a while. TIA

I've installed many Spal window kits, and they seem to work great, and are fairly easy to install. The only thing is that they give you a black plastic cap to go over your window crank handle.

Are these the kits that control the window by touching the glass? If not, does anyone know anything about them, as far as how well they work and whatnot.

Thanks man, I will be conquering this project soon I hope. As far as the black caps I have painted my interior and the lower half of my doors are black so it should match well. I eventually want to get GS door skins and use those instead.

These dont roll down like that, they use switches like OEM cars do. Ive never heard of anything like you described

I've also heard that the wiring is already there and gs doors will bolt on and then you have oem power windows. Is this true?

yeah thats true, but it is quite expensive to go that route. I have seen just the door skins go for like 200 a piece, so you know buying the whole door is gonna cost quite a pretty penny. I paid a total of 127.99 shipped to my door for this kit.

Ebay! just search for spal. I think there may be a couple more still there. If not I can give you the dealers email address. The auction I bid on was a dutch auction where they had like 15 kits. The kit was originally 84 bucks with 14.99 s&h, but I added the 3-switch option (the kit I bid on didnt come with switches) so I can have the two switches on the driver side and one on the passenger side. That option was 29.99 for a grand total of 127.99 shipped
