i was wondering if anyone had ever removed this piece from the bumper by themselves or got rid of it somehow. i think the front would look alot better without this piece. is it seperate from the rest of the bumper, or would it have to be cut out somehow? i saw some people paint it the color of the car, but i dont really like that, i would rather not have it there at all. hmmmm....any ideas?

It's one whole piece in other words that's part of the bumper... Gotta cut it / shave it, wetsand <?> that part of da' bumper and repaint.

It's a main part of the bumper structure. From up under there, look up...you will see plastic locking screws that mount up to the main 35mph crossmember crash zone. You would either have to remove the 35mph guard and cut the hell out of the bumper...or cut into the 35mph guard (which is NOT easy, try just drilling a hole into it)
