I'm just curious here. I noticed that I am starting to get chips in my hood, from rocks and what not. I remember seeing a few Eclipses with this problem also. Does anybody else have this, or is it just a Wisconsin thing? TIA

That is the one of the things that pisses me off most about my car. Trucks and large cars are always throwin up rocks and shit that nicks and dings the bottom 10% of my hood. Having a black car doesnt help cover them up either. Touchup paint seems to help, till you get close and then it looks like crap.

Is a carbon-fiber hood less prone to chipping? I thought carbon-fiber was brittle.
