i don't know if you were still wondering but my deck is an Alpine CDA-W550. And it unfortunately does not play MP3's. Oh well though, I like it because it was a double-deck so I could jam to the old school tapes when i got the urge

Nice headunit, I got the AIWA CDMP3 unit...single deck, radio/cd/cdr/cdrw/input... i'd like to hook up a laptop and jam to 20GBs in my car nonstop hehe...
