Turtle wax, i love u.

Apparently, after trying some good ol' green can wax Turtle Wax, none-other...that bumper shined up real nice like. I'm for once pleased with the outcome of it. Heh, I have only waxed my car like 5 times tops in my life of owning it. That is one nice coat on that car. So now, ironically...I guess I just have to wax the bumper only everytime I wash the car haha. Don't wax the car to make it match up and look nice. How's that for science?

whew! emoji damn i love that little smiley thing. notice, much?

Dude - I don't think you are supposed to wax a car within the first month of having it painted - not absolutely certain though - but you might want to check on that.

Good luck.

I don't think it will hurt anything.

You may have to wax it more often, but ehh.. compared to how it looked when you got it back? Small price to pay.

Don't worry, we recommend waiting a month. But I don't think it will hurt anything really. For normal factory cars, we color sand and buff it the day after it's been painted. It's just show cars that like to wait a long time for the perfect paint job. But since they messed up the clear anyhow, I don't think you had much to lose. Don't worry, it should be fine.

i had to get the drivers side of my front bumper and quarter panel fixed and repainted(had a little incident with the side of the house :o ) and it was done at a very good body shop and they waxed the car after it was done. now maybe they waxed eveythng except that area, but i don't think so. anyway, it's been about 8 months and i haven't waxed the car since and it looks great. can't tell any difference at all from the rest of the car.

Yeah Kapt'n I'm with marcus on this... your supposed to wait about a month... but seeing as the clear is messed up on it, I don't think u have much to worry about it. and just make sure you don't wax it to often or u will really screw up ur paint... if you use a good wax aren't you only supposed to wax it every couple months or so.... and with some isn't it like only twice a year???
