I can't seem to find and OEM side skirts that are in decent shape or for a decent price, so I've decide to get some aftermarket side skirts. They are about the same price people are asking for on dsmtrader.com Anyhow, I was thinking Neo Blitz side skirts....what do you guys think?

its gotta be either those or the invaders. i have the invaders, but i wanted to change them to blitz, but changed my mind again and decided i liked the scoops better in mine. http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt

I like the blitz side skirts. Do the scoops come with the side skirts? If I don't buy from asylumms where do you guys suggest I buy from? Aren't all side skirts fiberglass anyways? If so won't quality be shady no matter where I buy from?

it's not about quality really...it's about the fit. my asylumms front end only fit after modification, and then i had to fiberglass a metal reinforcement bar under the lip to keep the brittle fiberglass from sagging. there are actually spots that are as thin as a potato chip. spend a few more dollars and buy from a company with a better reputation.

Any side skirts must be molded to a certain degree!
If anyone is interested im looking for a front bumper still and would prob be able to get the kit cheaper then the side skirts themselves so we just go half or i pay wahtever the bumper is worth or something like that

Hmm...this is kinda shitty. I can't decide. I am in the process of lowering my car but it just dosen't look as good without the side skirts. I really don't want to drop $300 on side skirts that are going to shatter when I go over a speed bump. What alternatives are there to fiberglass?

nah, sideskirts dont have to be molded, unless of course they are a bad fit. i installed mine the same day i got them , the install took about 30 minutes per side. then took em off and had them painted. all good fit skirts will fit with no molding at all, its just your option to mold them to the fender for a better look. its just a hassle because you can remove them if you need to get onto a high lift and they are your permanent choice for skirts. plus if you cut a vent into them, and add a grille to it, if the grille ever comes loose, good luck getting behind the skirt to reattach the grille. if you got the cash and definately are going to mold to your fender, get the rudora skirts. they are about $600 but look really nice. i was planning to get them as well as the invaders and mold the invader scoops into the raised section at the back of the rudoras but it would be way too much money. check www.takakaira.com for the rudora skirt pics http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt

If you are not lowering too much, side skirts should really never rub. Strong, thick fiberglass is pretty durable anyway. I think Kaminari's side might be urathane, but i am not sure. Buy some stock side and mold some vents and holes into them for a custom, urthane side skirt that no one else has.
