Keep your car waxed. I wax my car often. Makes it hard for the spots to stay. they just slide off. Once I start to see alot of spots again, I wax it.

get one of those water purifying dealies from an autoparts store, its like car dealerships, theres no minerals so the water dries clear

depends where you live for waterspots from the rain. I dont live near the city so I have clean water falling from the sky, none of the acid crap.
