#2125, "front end fixer est.."

for all of those think about gettin a beat front end and fixin it, heres is what i encountered...i got a blitz front piece from klipzracer,,it had a good ol sized crack in it, a couple other ones, lil chunk missing, and some scuffs,,well i have it all fixed,,cant even tell there ever was a crack,,,used the fiber glass resin and the fiber mesh,,body filler, lotsa sand paper, primer,,and paint,,and here is the total damage

1. $20 in gas to get the bumper
2. $50 for the bumper
3. $15 for the fiber glass resin and mesh
4. free ulimited primer, sand paper, and filler (thanx GE)
5. $50 for northstar white paint
6. free clear coat (thanx GE)
7. 30 hours of work total
8. also had the use of a full shop (spray boths etc...)

so a money total minus the free b's $135,,add in the filler, sand paper, and the good primer,, it would bring that total around $200,,not to mention the time involved in fixin it (30 hrs.) granted some of the stiff i had to fix was how it came outta the box,,unclean edges, and crap like that,,im ver anal so i fixed it all,,,so was it worth it??, personally yes,,ive done body work b4 , and i enjoy it,,plus it gave me somethin 2 do,,even though i missed a sweet ass weekend by workin on it,, so for some1 thats think about doin it and doesnt have the facilities to do it,, u may wanna think about it,,just thought i would throw this out there for anyone interested,,jason gs turbo also has done what us man whores call a doozy of a bumper repair!
