#21231, "Heres some new pics of my interior."

Color change is almost complete. Only doors are left and I got black seats in the mail.

Out with the old.........

And.....in with the new.......

Those empty holes are where I put my four NOS switches emoji

Heres the new headliner.

The crack is from my sub box hitting that mofo. Anyone got an extra one of those parts?

How did YOU do your headliner? Everyone has some way of doin' it. I was thinking of going with a light weight black vinyl, do you think that would work with the 3M adhesive stuff?

Thanx for the compliments. I agree, it looks much cleaner.

AS far as the headliner goes, I have a writeup on the mods page, check there. I dont think I listed on there where i bought my new headliner stuff from. I got it from here: http://store.yahoo.com/yourautotrim-store/auothead.html

Fuach, on seats, I know. I just orderd my drivers to see how it is, then if I like it, I will get pass. Only prob is the backseats. I remember someone saying they might some type of mold to go in place of the backseats, then I was gonna put carpet on it. I know noone could sit on the mold, but hey, no one sits back there anyway.

Hopefully i will have some new pics up real soon. All i have left to do is the seatbelts, and redye the carpets since they didn't go dark enough yet. Headliner is staying the same for now, until i decide what do do with it. I'll have pics of my new audio set up in the hatch too. Possibly this weekend i will be done and post some pics..

Well i have 1 15" Eclipse aluminum cone sub fireing up towards the hatch glass, custom box, sittin in the tire well, and one 1100D on each side of the sub, and the 4 channel amp in front of the sub, all covered in clear plexiglass outlined in black trim. The whole top of the cover board is covered in black carpet. I wanted to use black vinyl, but i had to have the car ready for a show real quick, so the carpet was the quickest way. It looks really good, not too flashy, not too subtle. Clean and simple, yet very good looking. Check for pics in a few days emoji

damn, never thought so much peeps would like it. Guess hard work does pay off. I noticed some peeps saying they wanna paint their interior or are doing it right now. Well just dont make the same mistake I did. Make sure the color scheme you are going with is going to somewhat match the rest of your car. Before mine was blue/white, looked alright, got looks, but to me it was tacky. So this time I did it right, with the right paint, the right scheme, and also if possible make sure everything else on the inside matches. Such as the black carpet I have as well as the redone black headliner, and my blackseats which are on the way, all the way down to the silver MP3 player. And dont be scared to paint your sterring wheel, shifter(if auto), and parking brake. I painted them all 100% coverage and the paint doesnt come off, nor does it make anything sticky or slick. My sterring wheel has the exact same feel as it did without paint. Also, to make sure everything matched, I went ahead and painted all my buttons on the inside as well (rear defrots, rear wiper, hazard, power mirrors) I know my car good enuff to know what button does what without having the see a symbol. I also painted the gear highlighter (auto), so you cant see what gear I am in. I always know where drive is, too bad other shops dont, they are always in neutral. lol.

Well sorry for ranting or seeming like a badass, but I just want anyone who is doing their interior to do it right the first time, unlike me.

The paint is SEM's Vinyl Paint. I bought it at vinylpro.com.

XtremeRS.....did you make the box or did someone make it for you? Cause I just have 1 12" ( my other one blew) and would like to get a box that goes into the wheel well and comes up flat and even with the carpeting. If you did make it yourself, was it hard?

Yah looks good. I did mine black and silver but just reverse from yours, I did my dash black and all my accent panels silver. But I just did my dash like 2 weeks ago and the rest has been done for a while. I even did the panel outside that the windshield washerarms are connected to and painted it silver. I just wanted the whole car just to be 2 colors...and since the car is black I got silver rims and went from there now everything is black and silver except the seats and carpet, but thats next on the list. Ill post pics soon.

Well i made the box, but it doesn't sit flush with the car's floor. Its basically a square shaped box, about half of it sitting in the tire well, and then a cover panel attached to the top of the box, with the amps mounted to that. It sits up about half way to the opening of the hatch. The sub was just so big, i really couldn't flush it in, in the tire well. Making a box out of wood might be a little tough to fit a 12" in there flush, but if the sub needs very little airspace, you might be able to fit it. Also, you must cut out the metal on the bottom of the well that holds in the tire and the jack. It was a bitch to do, but you must cut that stuff out. take a look in the well, you will see what i mean..Now you could make a box out of fiberglass and mold it to the tire well, that should work nicely, providing its enough airspace for your sub..
