hard if you havent removed your front bumper yet. if so its not hard but pretty gutsy because you have to drill through your hood. took me about 3 hours to do mine and one hole in my radiator (knicked it with the drill when i was rounding out the hole) http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt
they place a pin between the hood and frame of the car so that the hood cannot be raised without removing the pin first. on light hoods if they arent used wind turbulence can get under the hood and pull it form the latch and off the car. sometimes the latch wont bolt to a hood so hood pins are the only thing holding the hood down in front. my friends crx latch didnt work so his does this http://www.geocities.com/blue2gnt
I'll take some pictures tomorrow of my hood pins. I drilled a hol ein my crappy as smashed hood but the total install didn't even take 1/2 an hour. I didn't even take thebumper off I can't wait to get my new hood Wyatt Leras http://www.turbogs.com 98 Eclipse GS Star Stage 5,000 Turbo kit
