Hello Everyone ! I hope you are all enyoing the weekend... What's left of it anyways .
Well to the point... I have a small problem with my car; (You guys with GS vehicles) You know that little black cap that you push down and pull up in order for the Power Windows to function ? Well I am missing 2 of those... one on each door. I bought the car with out them and ever since I've been using the windows just fine. But... now that I am "reconditioning/reconstructing" the car (bodywork, paint, interiors the whole works) I would like to have those caps back in the car. Satan doesn't sell them separate since the are part of the WHOLE damn Power Window/Power Lock unit. Unfortunetly (for me) the local junkyards don't have any 97-99 Eclipses so ... I am screwed for now. Any of you have any ideas what could be done to solve this "cosmetic" little problem ?
Also... Sorry to mention this again since I had already posted this question in HondaHater21's 'How to Open your trunk Automaticaly' but here it goes again in case someone had a solution...
"Any of you have or had the problem in which you pull the latch to open the trunk and the trunk doesn't open sometimes ? 'Cuz I am having that problem. It's erratic but; I gotta pull the latch, go to the trunk and apply some force upwards... then pull the latch back again in order for the trunk to open."
Anyone knows how to fix this 'cause ("suprisingly") satan can't and I am not alone on this one since jasonhko is sharing the same problem too. Funny thing is that we both have Black 10th Anniversary Edition Eclipses. Could it be a common issue among the models that have the "Turbo" high-spoiler ?
Thanxs Guys ! And sorry for taking so loooooooooooooong !

DAMNNNN SEAN YOU ARE DA MAN !!!
That trunk sh!t had me sick worried and I was so frustrated by it ! Now I have peace of mind... I guess most of us kinda experience that trunk issue.
BTW I hope that your Profesor gave you a double A+ on that Project dude... Mitsubishi should award you a freakin' Medal! As far as I know... next generation Eclipses will be 'Sean Gordon's Edition ! or at least "VEGASDSMR Edition" J/K but really.... that article was awesome !

Well look around for not just eclipses, but 2g talons, sebrings and avengers. They have the same power window/lock switches..Any yes, i too sometimes have the same problem with the hatch not fully opening with the lever in the car. I usually just pull up on it several times instead of once, and that usually takes care of it. It never does that though when i use the key...stock 3 piece spoiler here too..
