You have to remove the bumper to get to two screws under the headlight.

I know someone who put them in with the lights on the car. I don't remember if he drilled to be honest. But I think you have to in order to get them inside.

yeah, take the bumper off and take the whole assembly out. there's the obvious screws on top, then you'll see the bottom one or whatever when you get the bumper off. then the tricky one is on the backside of the headlight, it's hard to see and hard to get at if you got big hands. feel around behind your headlight near the bottom around the area between the blinker and the middle beam. you should find it after some searching. good luck!

haha, I almost forgot I did that mod 2 years ago. It's been so long since I activated them. Anyhow, I just took off the bumber and drilled holes while the headlamps were on the car. I drilled the holes into the high beam side. Never had any problems since. Never used them much since but still no problems. emoji

you take off the main bolts in the middle...then the bumper is attached to your mudflaps...and there are bolts at the very ends of your bumper where it meets the side quarter panels. i'm not sure what plastic screws you're talking about, i'm guessing the ones that connect it to the mudflaps. if you're having that much trouble getting those off then you can just unscrew your mudflaps and pull those off along with it. good luck emoji

i finally got it all done. the strobe lights are in and working perfectly. there were 4 plastic screws right under the headlights it took a while but i got them out with some help of one of my friends. by the way, anybody have ground lights in their eclipse? i'm getting mine tomorrow, just wanted to know how easy or hard it is to out them in and how did you connect them to a power source.
