Hey guys seems like a oh so similar story now but, i justgot home from work 2 days after droping off my kit to get installed. I bought a full urathane blitz kit. Now the guy called and said they tried to put it on andit wont go by the bumper bar, he said he isnt gonna take the liabilty or the Time(i guess it takes ahilwe) to take the bumper bar off. he said basically if you get in an accident without the bumper bar your car and you are toast. Plus part #2 he said the urathaneis flimsy and rubbery he said it shouldnt be that flexible he saidlikes working with fiberglass so much better, plus he said the side skirts them self are gonna take so much time to grind and fit to matchthe car, so he said basically this will take hrs of labor and i a screwed so i am now going to pick up mycar without the kit what can i do?

As far as I know almost EVERY Talon/Eclipe body kit front end makes you remove the reinforcement bar. However I read someone on here made a new one to fit. As far as everything else, just try and get a new shop to do it.
I just recently got screwed on a price for my body kit install too...must be that time of year

Ya those blitz replica urethane bumpers are really cheap from what I heard. Think about how a stillen front alone costs 500 in urethane, yet you can get the full blitz urethane for under 700. Also, some kits will allow the rebar, some won't. I would always stick with fiberglass personally, but that is another topic (if you want to see benefits of each just do a search).

is it that unsafe to instal the bumper without the reenforcment bar? also is it common that blitz side skirts need alot of grinding ecctt to get them to fit/
