#20232, "97-99 front end conversion"

Alright, I'm doing it, you can't stop me...I'm taking my smiling 95 front off and putting on the 97-99, along with the headlights. I've already got prices on the parts, and I'd like to have some sort of idea on the paint and/or prepwork involved with the bumper. I'm also considering sideskirts, so if anyone can give me a heads up on what I'll be dealing with, it'd be appreciated.

There's a guy in Dayton, Ohio that sells them for right around 150...or you can find them on ebay brand new for 195 from north shore auto parts or something like that...the front end and headlights will get ya squared away as far as the whole conversion goes...rear bumper is another story emoji

Could you post the contact info for the guy who is selling them for 150? 195 isn't bad, but the shipping is killer. I was thinking that maybe while I am out in Ohio for the shootout, I could pick up the bumper and save shipping. 2 birds with one stone, if ya will...
Thanks,

When I put my Blitz front end I sold my factory 99 bumper to a friend that had a 96, it bolted right up of course. But, he also already had a set of projector headlights from a 97-99 so he had no problems there. You don't have to swap headlights, it will fit without it, but there will a small gap in b/t the light and the bumper.

i'm in the midst of getting all the parts for a 1995--->1998 conversion. i personally prefer the stock headlights over the projectors, but you will save some $$$ by going with those.

just did mine, 175 for a used bumper and it was already painted my color, 200 for a perfect set of used stock headlights, personally i like them better than the projectors too. im picking up my used stock skirts from a 99 for 130, tomorrow. 505 for everything. installation was easy on the bumper and headlights, and i hear its not too bad to do the skirts. there is a write up to do all of these on the main page.

and on a side note... i think he had it backwards.. you can put the 97-99 headlights on the 95-96 bumper, but there will be a gap.. the 97-99s are smaller than the 95-96s. i dont know how the fit would go with the 95-96 headlights on the new bumper... just some advice

^^what once was^^

^^what is now.. and permanently^^

the 95-96 lights would sit under the bumper and the bumper would overlap the headlights

stockers are better than projectors, imo. and i havent seen any projectors for 150, which is what i got my lights for
