#20156, "Steering wheel cover?"

Hey guys question on the front part of the steering wheel cover? Has anyone unbolted it and took the front part off? I was wondering if I could go head and take it off to paint it or would it make the air bag go off?

tia

Is there a safe way to take off the passenger side airbag cover as well?

Somebody did a brief write-up on how to take out the passenger side airbag the other day. You have to unhook your batt. Take out you glove box, and some bolts way up inside the glove box void. Its on here somewhere. I just read it yesterday.
