Alright I'm gonna head over to Walmart later today and pick up two yards of black felt. Now, will two yards lay perfectly over the headliner or will I have to put on bits and pieces.... Also, for people doing this, that mf'ing thing holding the seatbelt is a bitch to get off.

if you have no sunroof, its about 40x45" 2 yards will cover it fine

you will just lay it over adn cut around the edges but leave some to overlap just use your judgement.. i did my boys 2001 accords headliner yesterday.. more holes and a sunroof.. was easy

2 yards will be more then enough

I love dino and 2gnt. ####ers (my word) bliz stole it but i let him borrow it

Is there anything wrong with just painting the headliner with a dye paint?

ugh.... yeah I tried doing that and it does not work. It's impossible to get the black color even. There were always some areas were it was lighter. Also, it ends up costing more (dupli is $5 a can).

Evan, did you ever find a way to wrap the visors in your silver color.

tia,

Chris

im not a fan of dye

and yes i just spray the adhesive on the stock headliner and them on oe side of the new fabric
let sit for a min or 2 to get tacky then lay over a little at a time and smooth out

calico

yes i had my visors done by a upholstrey guy, only payed 20 bucks but i got a big hook up at this place

you have to heat the up to take them apart

I redid my headliner , but I used actual headliner material. Costed 15 dollars to get the stuff, so its a little more than the bedsheets, but I like it. With this stuff though, you have to take off the old healiner or else it will be too thick I think. I have the write-up on the mods page if you wanna take a look at it.
