If I buy the factory sunroof with tracks, switches, and all wiring..Will I be able to install it on my RS?

Any ideas anyone? Ive been told it cant be done and to just get a non power one installed..

I got a power moonroof and if i was in your situation i'd get on of those scoops the mount on the roof. they look trick.

what's the diff between moon roof and sun roof?

im pretty sure that the moonroof is see through like the eclipses, but a sunroof is not seethrough- like on bmw's

oh so a moonroof is like aftermarket...or at least you can only get aftermarket moonroof installed...?

Of all the after market sunroofs I've seen... They all look GAY!!! Don't do it!! you will have TOOOOO many problems with it, like leaking for one!! just my 2. cents.

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

When I initially bought my 98' Talon, they're weren't but a few left, and I had requested certain items...(stick, black, 16's...etc) I had also requested a moonroof, but there weren't any left amongst the other specs I had requested. So ,the dealership had a private business-only aftermarket accessory shop install my moonroof for me.

I can't tell you how pleased I am with it. I've never had a single roof leak, or any other like-related problem. (I do hear some windnoise over 110 MPH ) Furthermore, and probably my favorite aspect, is that I had it put on a talon that didn't originally come with one. That means the interior roof came stock taller inside. With the stock moonroofs, you'll notice your head clearance of maybe 2 or so inches lower. This for me is wonderful as I'm 6'1" and I like to have a lot of headroom. It's a benefit I never knew I had until I rode in my buddy's factory-equppied moonroofed talon. I also get a lifetime warrantee on the roof.

But I would maintain the caveat that others here have expressed. Be wary of cheap aftermarket moonroofs. I've heard MANY a horror story as well. This is something you definitely want long warrantees for and lots of references.

I think everyone misunderstood my question..

If I buy a factory moonroof from a GS, with all wiring, tracks, switches, etc..

Can I have it installed on my RS?
