hey guys i am redoing my headliner and i want to take out the sliding pices that cover the moonroof....i have the headliner out but how do i get the sliding part out?please help thanx.....

Gotta take the glass out. 6 torx screws from inside (3 each side). Pop that out then shut the sliding piece. Disassemble the sliding pieces from the top. You should be able to see how they come apart. The top part comes out first obviously.

or you can remove them my way, but they will never go back in. i busted those plastic things out because they got in the way. without them i get so much more view up there. plus with the window tinted the sun never bothers you.

Or there is the fasterGS method... go on a road trip with a loose sunroof. Get pissed, hit the cover with your hand. Pops right out. emoji

god yes, mine rattles like crazy, especially when im slowing down. how do i fix it? is there just a bolt loose or something?

There are some hex bolts on the inside, tighten them up. They will come loose again tho, the sunroofs suck in our cars IMO.

I took mine out last year and I didn't have to take the glass out. I can't really remember but if you open the sun roof and look from the top you should be see the clips that hold it in. Sorry I can't really help more, but I can't really remember and I'm too lazy to go look.
